    No broadband, Bluetooth or Local Area Connection (Windows XP)?

    I have a broadcom 440x 10/100. I tried everything. I have an IP beginning with 192.168, so I do not know what is happening. Dell Inspiron.Excellent connection, says it is connected but will not connect in Firefox or Chrome. ????? Pretty tech savvy.
