    Simply put. The van is not roadworthy for 1. And no the diesel will not fit without a lot of work. A used engine alone would be worth 4 times the van.     Why doesn't GM and Ford make diesel SUVs?

    And of course you would be the first in line to drop an additional $7- 9 grand for that engine and better mileage. It is a $7800 difference for a diesel versus a gas engine in a Ford F250. How many miles would you need to drive to offset that cost?
