Sure, anything is possible, but just not feasible or worth the work & $$$. The trouble here is the interface on the touch screen feeding info to the device. Even changing brand A touchscreen with brand B touchscreen would be hard, because they each have their own sepeate driver interface.
Pretty sure would not be a problem. IF they did make a minor change in the nose piece for the two different grills, it wouldn't be hard to secure it other ways.
Well, I'm twenty plus years older then you are & have no idea why you would need a touch screen in a car... I even keep a teenager around to explain some of this stuff to me & I still don't get it. I can work every button in my 12 year old Grand Marquis, so I'm happy where I'm at....
The more wire in the air, the stronger the reception. But, if you're in a city where there's pretty much a station at every interval, not much difference.
Generally speaking, a factory stock engine can handle like 6 or 7 psi without any long term damage, if it's in decent shape. Also, at those boost levels, you can get by without an inter cooler.
With enough time & $$$, certainly. Now, as far as practical, that's up to you. The Vortech is a centrifugal blower that takes power off the engine with a separate belt drive. As the belt has to be quite tight so the blower pulley doesn't slip, we're talking a 3" wide cog belt or so, & that...
Have a '98 Grand Cherokee with umpteen thousands miles on her, & love it. Sure, it's had some work done, had a tranny problem, & the exhaust manifold cracked & had to be replaced, but she's soldiered on thru northern Ohio snow for over ten years. My daughter has had it for awhile, to make sure...
You're right, the remote wire should only pull micro amps. Try this - Put a car light bulb in line with the main power line, then touch the remote line & see if the unit is drawing thru the main line - The bulb will light. If it is pulling thru the main, then either the unit has a fault that's...
It's the engine management computer that runs things. Now, in '93, the computers weren't the fire-breathing monsters we have to contend with now, but they were basically just large computerized ignition modules. i have no idea how Nissan ran their computers then, so I can't help any further...
You're right about the tweeter placement... The high frequency sounds do not bounce as well as lower freq, so they need to be 'aimed' at you. On the mid-hi ranges, first I'd look at better rear deck speakers. You might be able to find 2 way or 3 way speakers that will fit. A two way speaker...
