Looking around online and e-tyres provide "mid-range" tyres for quite a good price and the named popular brands are about £170 each per tyres. So what are "mid-range" tyres, as they don't mention any names.
It is 2 years old but I want to be prepared and don't want to pay silly money everytime, I would rather have my own code reader and diagnose the fault and then get it repaired.
Can anyone recommend a good code reader? I heard the Peake Tool for BMW was good.

I am after a hatchback or saloon, what car would you recommend? I am in the UK.
I was after BMW because I have a 1999 BMW 316i 1.9 and the engine has been very reliable as it is on 156k at the moment so I want something long term as I won't be changing the car every year etc.
