You have to stick with 26" wheels.
Why not just buy a pair of 26" smooth tread narrow road tires? Changing a tire does take longer than a wheel, but the investment is a lot less (you would need narrow tires anyway, right?). Instead of 2 minutes you would spend maybe 20 minutes. I do agree...

I rode a metric century on Saturday and a century on Sunday. Back to back beautiful sunny days in the saddle. Burned more than 600 per hour with the 15 mph head winds. It was work.
1. Supported rides have food stops and you eat well. they usually offer high energy sensible food. Bagels...
Racism implies that the Tour excludes some racers of color. That is untrue. All anyone of any race need do is be of the quality rider to make a team and ride in the TdF.
Simple - no racism involved. It is more a lack of interest or cycling ability of those not in the Tour. Just because...
Run, don't walk away from the Alex product. It is junk. My bike mechanic charges $25 + parts to build wheels.
Find some other rims. Alex will have problems and they do NOT stand behind their product.
You don't remove links to solve chain stretch, period. You replace the chain. Removing links doesn't solve the stretch condition.
Check your derailleur adjustment. Check your chain for a twisted link. It will actually look like the front chain wheel is bent as the twisted part of the chain...
Go to Thule web site and they have a selector to show what fits your car. http://www.thuleracks.com/fg_vehicle.asp
It can support a bike and a carrier. The carrier isn't the full width, but the slender half width of the car style.
If people would quit calling their motorcycles "bikes" Yahoo Answers would stop automatically choosing the bicycle category to place their questions.
This IS .... cycling -- it is for bikes aka bicycles.
you want cars and transportation>motorcycles -- it is for dirt bikes, sport bikes, super...
Not a bad bike in it's day. American made. How good it is depends on condition and what components it has. Here is what other owners have to say:

Yep. I have done a century on a single speed. One of my riding friends won the Calvin's Challenge last year for the single speed division with 178 miles.
Ride!!
Well, the way I did it was to show up on group rides. As others have stated, check with your local bike shop. They know about rides, some have weekend rides, and they have free publications advertising rides.
It's great to get to know fellow riders and have cycling friends. Socializing while...
I know you are looking for security from your 2 questions.
The very best security is to not leave your bike unattended. Ever.
Second to that get 2 locks. That will slow a thief down. Locks keep honest people from acting on impulses. Nothing stops a thief.
This might help. Carry a 3 way...
Hey, Vinny! Dude let's not make this place craigslist.org, OK? That would be a great place for you to search for the bike. Can't find one there? Post your ad there. You know, ebay and stuff too.
