When ever i run my computer off the battery, every so offten my screen will go white or a grayish black. I get no error message and if im playing music or something it will keep going. I just cant see anything eccept a white or gray screen. Is this a common issue and how do i fix it?

I have seen guides that tell you how to hack cable modems...and we are getting satellite internet, so im wondering if you can hack the satellite modem...I assume it should be the same kinda modem as any other one. If you cant, why not?
