You can get the Behold without getting the data internet plan. The only thing that it will effect is that you cannot use the internet and probably instant messaging because they use the internet in the first place.

I just got mine and I have the Sidekick Data Plan but internet, email and im is not working. I restarted it and it said that message "Network data services currently unavailable". What should I do?
if you are using Wi-Fi routers, the router is probably turned on, but not connected to the internet.
If you are using an internet card, it is probably your card or your laptop.
If I buy a jailbroken one, is it 100% that it will not be re-locked through updates sent by Apple??
And yes, I know if I use it on T-Mobile, the only thing that will not work is the visual voicemail.

never mind,, bad idea. I'll just either switch to AT&T or by a new Sidekick slide or Dash. I've had T-Mobile my whole life and up until 2 weeks ago, we changed from Bellsouth (AT&T) to Comcast for our isp.
