My friend gave me a Xbox 360 wireless adapter because he didn't want it anymore. He said he bought it from Walmart but when I tried to use it, it doesn't seem to work... Can I bring it back without a receipt for a replacement/ refund? (I hear these adapters go bad often)

I need details on how to get music from my Itunes account onto my LG Dare from my mac computer. I have tried BlueTooth, USB cable and a memory card into computer and nothing works because they are MP4 files for some reason, how do I get them onto my phone as playable songs?
