What was the last Blackberry Curve 8310 OS (for AT&T) that was released before you had to add a data package to your wireless plan?

My Motorola Atrix (the first version) reboots itself randomly about every hour or so. I've heard that it could be because of an error with the SIM card or an app that I downloaded. But, I've done a factory reset on it many times, adding one app at a time, and that doesn't seem to be the problem...
