    connecting my blu ray to a basic tv with a green, red & blue rca cables with an

    hdmi end piece? I have an HDMI cord which has 3 RCA cables on the other end that are the colors blue, green & red. can I connect this to my basic television or am I possibly missing another component? Or will this not work at all......I need help
