Once we had our rose bush planted, I realized that one stem had snapped. It broke about 3 or 4 inches below the bud. Do I need to do anything to that stem or will it be ok and re-bloom?

I am writing a mission statement for a potential restaurant.
Should I write things like "Blah, blah, blah is what MAKES Restaurant X a local favorite." Or, should I say "what WILL MAKE Restaurant X a local favorite?"
Also, is it wise to refer to the customer in the mission statement?
