If there were a transmission problem the "D" or "N" shift indicator light on the dash would flash. It sounds more like a motor misfire. If you have new NGK spark plugs the next thing to check for are small white arc marks on the inside and outside areas of the coil boots or plug wires. If they...
G35's have a well known common problem with the stock rotors in the front. They wear down and a high ridge forms on the outer edges of the rotor. To get rid of your noise I would recommend going to Advance Auto and purchase the Wearever cheap rotors but make sure to buy either the platinum or...
Easy to diagnose. Take a 12 volt test light and check for power at the starter solenoid small trigger wire. Have a friend hold the key in the start/cranking position while you test it. If no power there, check the electrical part of the ignition switch for a terminal that only gets voltage in...
As long as they replaced the pulleys with the timing belt that sounds like a good deal. You should start thinking how good a deal did he get, not how bad did the mechanic screw my old man. Thinking your way will make you paranoid every time you need your car worked on and people like that always...
The stabilitrak may be related to bad air shocks in the rear. My Bonneville SSEI had a light come on for the service stabilitrak and it's off now that the bad shocks were replaced. Just adjusting the alignment is not going to make the light go out.

If it has the 20R motor they have a common problem with the timing chain wearing through the front housing and into the cooling system, hows the oil look?
I think you already looked under the car to see if it had balls or a beaver. Obviously you don't know the difference between the two or you wouldn't be asking such an easy question!
