no, telus doesn't use sim cards, and thats what the iphone runs on. You will need to be with Rogers or Fido to be able to use the iphone in Canada.

No you can't. It won't work. Telus phones don't take a sim card, and as you know rogers does. You can't unlock a phone that's CDMA (no sim card)

Try putting the buetooth right on top of the phone when it's searching. (Is swag ninja the brand name of the bluetooth device?)

You can call your service provider and have them manually turn that icon off for you. It's not permanent. Sometimes their voicemail platform gets stuck and thinks you have a message when you don't.
