Playing DVD from a different region?

If laptops are like dvd players, it would have to be a region free dvd player. See if you can rent or borrow one before buying.

    Dish network technical difficulty's?

You better ask dish. Or watch espn after the fight is over. $45 is a lot to pay to watch a fight that will probably last 4 rounds

Does "surround sound" only work with DVD's and Blue Ray on home theaters?

If you bought the whole package that comes with a dvd player, sub woofer and speakers, you have a home theater in a box and it will only give true s/s on dvd's. However, you can put the sound field on multi and get sound out of your rear speakers if you connect an audio cable from the tv output...

3800 receiver dish network, is this a dvr?

Why don't you try recording the show your watching? All you have to do is press record and if it's a dvr, a menu will appear with recording options. But if you did a search, the 3800 is just a dish receiver and not a dvr. Sorry

Can I upgrade tv my to 3d, just with a 3d blue ray disc player?

No, I think you need to purchase a 3d tv instead. Even if it was 3d ready, it won't have a 3d effect like the real 3d tvs.

Im thinking on getting Satellite tv which is better Dish Network or Direct Tv?

They are about the same if you only hook up one tv. After that, dtv costs more because you need a receiver at every tv. Dish has a dual receiver that will work two tv's off one box. The same applies to the dual dvr. Dtv will run $20 to $40 more a month if you have a lot of tvs.

Sony HT SS370 Home theater system?

You can connect to any blu ray but it really doesn't give you true surround sound unless it's a stand alone a/v receiver. If it's a home theater in a box, the you will get a dvd player with it and that will be the only device that really sounds good. You can get a theater in a box with a blu ray...

Which Blue-ray home theater system is better?

My choice would be the Panasonic. If your planing on going wireless, you will have to purchase a wireless lan adapter for the blu ray. About $70 more. Also check what apps. come with the blu ray. They will be loaded in the blu ray set up and should tell you on the outside of the box that the...

How do you connect your blue ray player to connect to your wifi network?

Here's a site to check your internet speed, see how many mbps your modem is putting out in the wireless mode. If the wireless modem is too far from your blu ray, you might not have enough power to run the blu ray. Interference form other wireless devices can mess it up too. If your speed is...
