many people had said this but you shouldn't run a sub on a receiver channel.... it's 50 watts x 4 " channels " you buy a aftermarket receiver that has " RCA preouts " on the back of the receiver.
this is where you run your RCA to the amplifier from your receiver... it carries signal. Read here...
12 inch kicker subs that I would personally recommend even though you could do a lot better.
Wait .. the only one worth having " BUT not really " is the l7 and on top of that if you want em you could run the dx1000/1
I don't want to give too many details, but I will give the basics. I've had two negative sexual encounters in my life, and for some reason I feel that they are effecting my mental health.
I don't know if it's just me glorifying these negative thoughts, and I should just get over it, or it isn't...

Well, you'd just use regular old speaker wire, and for the terminal connection i would advise that you use the " prong " looking ends to fit onto that terminal connection. Attaching bare wire to the terminals will work fine.. but you don't want the wire coming off and arching
The basics - some come with longer cables/wiring wile other come shorter.
Some come with really thick wire/cable if they are used for a larger power amp and some come with smaller gauge wiring..
Example - you don't want to be running 12 ga at 3,000 watts
With 4 ga runs well with 1000 watts...
