many people had said this but you shouldn't run a sub on a receiver channel.... it's 50 watts x 4 " channels " you buy a aftermarket receiver that has " RCA preouts " on the back of the receiver. this is where you run your RCA to the amplifier from your receiver... it carries signal. Read here...

Well, you'd just use regular old speaker wire, and for the terminal connection i would advise that you use the " prong " looking ends to fit onto that terminal connection. Attaching bare wire to the terminals will work fine.. but you don't want the wire coming off and arching

The basics - some come with longer cables/wiring wile other come shorter. Some come with really thick wire/cable if they are used for a larger power amp and some come with smaller gauge wiring.. Example - you don't want to be running 12 ga at 3,000 watts With 4 ga runs well with 1000 watts...
