Yeah, i've used that stuff. Just follow the instructions. Put some in your tank and fill it up, and drive it for at least 30 minutes before the test. I used that stuff when I was in a smog check state, and it worked great.
You can use anything you want to navigate. There is no rule against using any GPS in a small aircraft, unless you are flying IFR and using some other radio to navigate. If you are just finding a friend's house, that's no problem. Just don't buzz him! That is illegal. Have fun.
I believe it came stock with a V8. If you have the V6 model, a v8 should bolt right on to the original engine mounts. You may have to move some things around, but it should fit with oem parts.
