my cousin has a sony vaio but the hard drive crapped out and he just bought a new laptop, if i get an external hard drive can i use it on this laptop that doesnt have an internal hdd even hooked up?
Alsop i have his 2 vista recovery discs, could i use these to install the os from scratch?
i have comcast cable internet, i currently have it hooked up though a router but the problem exists when its hooked up direct to, ive tried power cycling the entire pc, i've also unplugged the modem/router/pc for minutes which fixes it for a few minutes then back to flashing. please help!

i really dont like the go-phone options, i know i'll have to pay full price for a nicer phone but i dont want to do that if when i switch the sim card it wont even work
