    lojack, most stolen harleys get stripped and the parts are then sold.Usually never recoverd. I live right nover my shop so mine are safe!

    They are very OLD SCHOOL,still using points i think. easy to work on but they may need lots of maintenance. If you cant wrench get a modern bike.

    I hate em all, those hideous things are NOT choppers! A real choppa is a kick only,open primary,suicide shift,no front brake or front fender,no turn signals. it only has whats needed to start and go.Keep it simple.

    You would want to physically examine the bike before buying but yes you could find something decent.

    All I wanna know is why the heck you people try to work on your bikes without a

    shop manual? step one is GET THE BOOK!!!! I dont work on anything without a manual handy just in case. If the book doesnt help you thats when you ask.
