If you do it when your contract is up, then no you won't get charged.

go to display settings on your PS3 and set the resolution to 1080P(or the maximum resolution your tv supports).

get a PS3, same quality as a standalone player but can do SO much more.

Be sure you PS3 is outputting the highest quality picture your tv supports. Go to "settings" then to "display settings" and there you can set it to automatically output your tv's maximum supported resolution. The PS3 initially outputs in 480i(one of the lowest resolutions today)

By far, the absolute BEST mobile browser to date is Safari which is found only on iPhone and iPod Touch. The LG Voyager and Blackberry Storm are both good touchscreen phones as well. But the web browsing experience still can't touch the iPhone's.
